The rules for being part of the honest social network. They're actually pretty simple.
Last updated: January 2026
"We have one core rule at Truuly: be real. Everything else flows from that. These terms exist to protect real people from fake ones."
Be real. Your profiles must represent who you actually are. Fake identities, fake credentials, fake personas — all grounds for immediate permanent removal. No warnings, no appeals for intentional deception. We are completely serious about this.
Both your professional and personal profiles must authentically represent you. Your professional profile must reflect genuine career history and achievements. Your personal profile must reflect genuine interests and personality. You own your content. Truuly does not claim ownership of anything you post.
By joining Truuly, you commit to the Truuly Pledge. The pledge is not optional and is not a checkbox you ignore. It is a public commitment to honesty and authenticity. Violating the pledge is grounds for removal.
Employer accounts with personal profile access have additional responsibilities. You must use personal profile access ethically and in compliance with all applicable employment laws. You cannot share personal profile content outside Truuly. You must respect consent — if someone revokes access, honour it immediately and remove any data you collected. Violating these rules results in immediate permanent ban from Truuly and potential legal action.
You can leave Truuly at any time by deleting your account. All your data will be removed within 30 days. We can remove your account for violations of these terms. We will notify you when possible except in cases of fraud or safety risk.
To the extent permitted by law, Truuly's liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
